The unique wood turnings of Don Reagan have found a place in beautiful homes around the world. Although Don turns vases and other sculptural pieces, what sets him apart are his small "treepots", large Buckeye, and redwood wall sculptures.

Slabs of California Buckeye root burl weighing as much as 200 pounds are shaped, turned, finely sanded, and finished with a satin lacquer. The natural colors of the wood are enhanced with a transparent wood dye to give the finished work a myriad display of color and patterns. It now weighs less than 30 pounds and can be displayed on that special wall. Sizes range from 40" - 60" and can take months to complete. In addition, Don also turns large wall sculptures from California Redwood.

Don's treepots are made from different exotic woods. The 'body' is turned on a lathe while the unusual, delicate legs, spouts and handles are hand carved. They have been exhibited in the Smithsonian Renwick Gallery, The American Craft Museum in New York and the Del Mano Gallery in California.

His work has won awards in some of the most prestigious Art Festivals in the U.S.A. He will be displaying his work at the following shows:
