A driftwood dining table for Sal & Reggie

This past Thursday Nikki & I made a one day trip to S Florida to make a series of deliveries to customers in Juno Beach, Lantana, Boca Raton & Delray Beach. One of those was a lacquered driftwood dining room table for Sal & his wife Reggie. They had found me online & as a 25th wedding anniversary gift to each other they were looking to buy a unique driftwood dining table to replace their current table. They wanted to use their own glass, a 42 x 72 x 3/4 rectangle, & they desired some brownish, golden, blond tones to match their new natural, woven cane chairs.

As I try to do with all of my custom orders, I sent them images of the original driftwood stump & the progression until at last it was complete.DSC_0094                                                                The original root systemdriftwood dining base                                      Structurally complete & ready to be sandblasted DSC_0107                                                                       SandblastedLacquered driftwood dining tableDSC_0148  Lacquered & displayed with my 50 x 72 test glass (front & back images) Lacquered driftwood dining table DSC_0043 driftwood dining table                                     Happy 25th to Sal & Reggie, a very delightful couple
